Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When we use a constant velocity target model, we can use the steady state error for a constant acceleration target(i.e., the measure for the track maintenance capability) and the steady state variance of estimated predicted position or estimated velocity for a constant velocity target (i.e., the measure for the random noise suppression) in order to evaluate the tracking performance. In this paper, we present new α-β filters. In order to obtain the new α-β filters, we minimize the steady state variance of the estimated an n-step predicted position for a constant velocity target under the condition that the steady state error for a constant acceleration target is constant.
