A DCT-based Calculation Method of Cross Correlation in Considering of Discontinuity on Signal Boundary

Abstract(in English) The effect of the boundary of signals on cross correlation is described. The effect is obvious in particular on a limited correlation as represented by phase correlation. In this paper, an extension method of signals to avoid the effect and its efficient calculation by discrete cosine transform are proposed.
