Abstract(in English) | The next-generation cloud computing is expected to process integrated information of both real-time sensor information and stored information on the cloud. However, the outflow of such sensor information into a data center will cause network congestion, which leads to deterioration of response time and power efficiency of a network. We have proposed "Reflective Network" that realizes short-time response, high reliability and high energy efficiency by introducing information processing nodes to a network. This paper proposes the efficient sensing information integration technique implemented in an Entrance node placed on the boundary of sensor connections in the network. It characterizes and summarizes information of multiple sensors and therefore reduces network transmission traffic. An evaluation platform of the Entrance node, whose filtering rule is distributed from its managing upper node remotely, was developed using 30 sensors measuring both temperature and humidity every 10 seconds. We applied the filtering rule integrating all the sensor data every minute. Evaluation result showed that the total quantity of the data was reduced to about 4.7 % that without use of the technique. |
