Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) EEG has an important role which makes clear an analysis of the brain activity. For example, it is possible that we know intention and state of mind of the person by analyzing EEG. Fuzzy learning vector quantization method 2(FLVQ2) is one of recognition systems, and it has a high recognition ability despite its simpleness. In this paper, we propose a method to classify EEG for three kinds of odor stimulation. These odors consist of pleasant odor, unpleasant odor and those mixture odors. The amplitude of alpha wave and beta wave are used for the input data, and we classify these data by using FLVQ2. We verify the effect of the proposed method by using actual EEG.
