A Simple High Efficiency DC-DC Converter Adaptive to Input Voltage and Load Current

Abstract(in English) Even though the tendency is towards the suppression of power consumption in electronic devices, regulator circuits which supply power to IC chips are very essential. In this paper we propose an algorithm to achieve high conversion efficiency of DC-DC converter. The proposed algorithm adjusts the switching frequency of DC-DC converter based on the input voltage and load current so that the conversion efficiency increases. Moreover, based on this algorithm, the oscillator being used in the proposed circuit becomes simpler. Finally, we confirm the efficiency of the proposed circuit through simulations.
