Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Visually induced motion sickness (VIMS) has recently attracted an attention. Some studies used autonomic nervous activity indices for evaluation of VIMS. However, those indices are possibly influenced by some factors irrelevant to watching visual stimuli: e.g. respiration, body motion, affectivity, attention, etc. Particularly, respiration can affect autonomic nervous activity in no small way. We investigated variability of autonomic nervous activity under the influence of respiration, and proposed a new evaluation method by cancelling the effect of the influence. Using the evaluation method, we tried to find some VIMS correlates out of autonomic nervous activity indices.
