Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The electric potential in brain which is observed by pushing a button consciously or counting numbers is called event-related potential(ERP). We can observe P300, one of the ERP, by using Oddball task which gives us two different kinds of stimulation that we can find the difference easily. In this experiment, we examined the time current characteristics of the supramarginal gyrus which concerns auditory recognition and how P300 influence our brains when they were given rTMS which can promote and suppress. The influence was found at the left and the right supramarginal gyrus when they were given rTMS. When we compared the latent period of P300 before and after rTMS, we found there was no difference when we gave rTMS to supramarginal gyrus but the latent period increased when it was given to the left supramarginal gyrus.
