Abstract(in English) A feedback type of speech visualization tool with a real-time analysis/display function is useful in speech training by the hearing impaired children or in articulation training by persons with speech disorders, because such a tool can provide articulation information during utterance. Authors have developed a real-time system based on a speech visualization using a high-speed speech analysis method. On the other hand, if such systems can provide an automated evaluation result about incoming speech to the learner, the efficiency of speech learning is expected to improve. The purpose of this study is to propose and design a new type of speech training tool that incorporates both a real-time feedback and an automatic speech evaluation. In this report, we describe a background led to developing this tool and introduce the system configuration built on a Windows-based PC and its operating functions.
