Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless body area networks (WBANs) can be used for vital signs measurements, such as an electrocardiograms and electroencephalograms in the healthcare sector. It allows wireless transmissions of bioelectrical signals between devices within the WBAN. However, wireless transmissions between WBAN devices may interfere and have significant impact on electrodes which measure bioelectrical signals, given that the bioelectrical signal level is usually feeble. Moreover, electrodes and WBAN device are likely to be located in close proximity and on the same surface (i.e. skin). In this report, single level induced at the electrodes by WBAN transmitters are measured and investigated. The electrodes and the WBAN transmitter are measured and investigated. The electrodes and the WBAN transmitter are installed on an agar phantom at various spacings. Measurements are conducted at four different operating frequency bands.
