Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The maximum a posteriori probability(MAP) decoding algorithm minimize the bit error probability, and is widely applied as and iterative soft-output decoder for the class of turbo codes. But the MAP algorithm is much more complex, thus, suboptimum MAP algorithms are considered for practical system. The Max-Log-MAP decoding algorithm is one of near optimum algorithms, and reduces decoding complexity. In this paper, an analytical results of bit error probability for 4-state recursive systematic convolutional code with Max-Log-MAP decoding are presented.
