Abstract(in English)	Recently, many young researchers of communication technology in the world have a lot of interests to apply theoretical results of multiuser information theory to real communication circumstances, such as mobile phone, internet, etc., in order to achieve much more efficiency, reliability and security. Especially, they draw much attention to results on the interference channel that is considered as most basic model for multiuser communcation today. The problem of capacity problem of interference channel is well known as one of the difficult open problems in information theory. We give a brief historical overview, recent progress around the problem and discuss the future perspective.
