Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Sensor devises to be used in sensor networks for target tracking are required to save their power consuming because they are supposed to be equipped with storage batteries. Thus, we have proposed prediction-based moving target tracking algorithm, which realizes power saving and continuous target tracking by using message exchange. However, with applying the algorithm to the real operation, further power saving would be necessary, so that we also deal with the wireless communication range control scheme in the algorithm, and investigate the impact of the control on power saving behavior while the target tracking performance keeps high quality.
