Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this report, we suggest a video server system that performs streaming transmissions of consumer generated video (CGV) files. The CGV files are placed in IP (SCSI) storages at each individual's home, and the IP storages are connected to one video server on demand. IP network of superior quality represented by NGN (Next Generation Network) are applied to the network between the video server and IP storages to guarantee iSCSI throughput. It is necessary to design the system to realize the video server can access IP storages to play CGV streaming on demand. In this report, we show the IP storage management system IMS-iSCSI using SIP presence function of RFC3856, implemented to perform without applying standard one, RFC4171 iSNS (Internet Storage Name Service).
