Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Problems such as copyright infringement, personal information leakage and large portion of traffic have occurred by P2P file sharing applications recently. One of the reasons of these problems is that a pure P2P network is an autonomous distributed system and does not have management and control mechanism, which makes difficult to control the file distribution and the traffic volume. As solution to control the illegal file distributon, we proposed a search control method, however, the previous proposed method has enough room for efficient control. In this paper, we propose an improved file search efficiency controlling method by using uncooperative peers. The basic idea is that the control peers distufb the file search by setting up a lot of search links to important peers in the search network. We evaluated our method in a live Winny network. The results show that the proposed method improves the control efficiency.
