Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the opportunity of communications by several languages increases by the spread of the Internet service like E-mail, the bulletin board, and the chat. Therefore, a lot of systems such as the languages dictionary and the machine translation, on the Internet now exist. Japanese input on the personal computer converts the content of the input as it is, and displays the conversion candidate. In our system, when Japanese is converted by using A Kanji conversion system (IME), the undecided string is acquired, Then the translation sentences and the back translation sentences are displayed in a popup window at the same time. Moreover, when the translation sentences are inappropriate, the paraphrase is displayed to support rewriting the input sentences.
