Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper discusses the paper as presentation media from the environmental point of view. We present the comparison of the CO_2 emission of the paper with that of electronic media for reading tasks. We also present the results of our experiments conducted to examine the differences in reading performance with paper compared to electronic media. Based on these results, we conclude that paper is not necessarily a nuisance and we need to select appropriate media for each situation.
