Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a view interpolation approach using focus blurs without feature matching. In our approach, we use several images focused on different depths taken from different viewpoints. The images we use have to contain in-focus regions and out-of-focus regions from different depths. We can generate an all-in-focus intermediate view from these images with the presented approach. This approach does not require estimation of feature correspondence. We reports results of a view interpolation from three views of a scene consisting of three depths. These input images are rendered by a ray tracing software, Pov-Ray. We could not derive stable and linear filters to generate an intermediate view accurately unlike the case that scene has only two depths. However, we achieved to generate a high quality intermediate all-in-focus image by iteration method.
