| Abstract(in English) | We have been doing research and developing "TV4U (TV for you)" system as a novel TV system. This system uses computer networks as the infrastructure, and covers all functions which are necessary for TV program (video content) production, delivery and viewing. This system uses direction templates called APE (Automatic Production Engine) which we have proposed for beginners of video content production. TV4U system enables users, who only describe simple script, to create video content added direction (e.g. CG studio and CG performer settings, CG performers' action, camera shots) automatically by using APE. We are currently studying on the "sophisticated APE", which adds high-level direction of video content depending on the status of content, for aiming to generate high quality video content. This time, we have developed a proto-type sophisticated APE written in the Python. It has a function that generates rule-based actions depending on the status of video content for CG characters in the video content. For this function, the APE can generate new direction styles which existing APE cannot generate. As a result, the TV4U users, who have no expert knowledge, enable to make new direction styles on the APE by using a simple rule description. |
