Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When an image in the panoramic-image-based virtual space is switched to another one, it is important to give the user an illusion such as moving through the space. This paper proposes and implements the following three switching methods. (1) When the first image is zoomed in and it becomes the same degree of scale as the next image, it switches. (2) The first image is not only zoomed in but also gradually made transparent and it switches smoothly. (3) The obstacles such as doors and walls in the user's route are taken into consideration in the switching method. Finally, these three switching methods are compared with the method used in the Google Street View.
