Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a method for estimating pan-tilt camera's rotational parameters from the video sequence acquired by the camera. In particular, this paper studies a method that deals with moving objects in the observed scene. First, detected and tracked two feature points are projected to the surface of the virtual shphere, whose center is the camera's opytical center and whose radius is the camera's focal length, so that the pan and tilt angles are estimated by using the congruence of the triangles formed by the projected two feature points and optical axis. To estimate the pan-tilt angles accurately, the feature points should be detected from the static objects. This paper discriminates the static objects from the moving objects by judging whether the distance between 2 feature points stays constant or not. The validity of the proposed method is demonstrated through simulation and experiments using real scenes.
