Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In a typical satellite communication system, frequency resources are assigned to each user earth station by using Demand Assign Multiple Access(DAMA)algorithm. Since each user earth station acquires and releases the assigned frequency resources upon demand, unused frequency slots are scattered across the bands. In this paper, we propose bandwidth decomposition employing spectrum editing technique. It divides transmission signal into multiple subspectrums by using filter bank, and arranges each subspectrum in unused frequency resources. In addition, by applying the proposed bandwidth decomposition employing spectrum editing technique to the characteristic of amplitude in the transition band, it can reduce the total bandwidth compared to the original bandwidth. We have evaluated the performance of proposal by computer simulations and its results will be introduced.
