Abstract(in English) | The band-stop type of self-injection locked NRD guide Gunn oscillator, which consists of a high-Q ceramic resonator side-coupled to a dielectric strip of the free-running NRD guide Gunn oscillator, was analyzed from the viewpoints of the oscillation frequency, Q-factor, and phase noise. Good agreement of the tendency between the calculated and measured oscillation performance was quite satisfactory, and thus the analytical procedure proposed in this paper was confirmed. In addition, it is obvious that the band-stop type of self-injection locked NRD guide Gunn oscillator has good advantage such as high Q-factor as well as low phase noise compared with that of the reflection type of self-injection locked one at 60GHz. |
