Wideband spurious-response suppression using 4-pole coplanar-waveguide resonator filters

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a structure of bandpass filter in which quarter-waveguide resonators are arranged in the offset, from the viewpoint of wider bandwidth of spurious suppression. This structure is suitable for making a multistep-resonator filter compactly. Furthermore, since an appropriate arrangement of resonators makes it possible to suppress spurious response of one of odd-order resonances, we design a four-step resonator filter which can suppress spurious responses up to the 7th-order resonance. The effectiveness of the present filter with wideband spurious suppression is proved by the calculated results.
