Abstract(in English) This paper concentrates its discussion on some research topics the author has been involved in during the last forty years ; a) the excitation and detection of bulk and surface acoustic waves in a VHP range by magnetostrictive ferrite films, b) magneto-elastic interaction in amorphous TbFe films having a giant magnetostriction and its application to sophisticated velocity control of acoustic waves, c) surface skimming bulk waves and leaky surface acoustic waves propagating on highly piezoelectric LiNbO_3 and LiTaO_3, and d) piezoelectric boundary waves by which surface acoustic waves used in devices may be replaced in near future.
