Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a flexible design method for dual-band bandpass filters. The gist of the proposed method lies in using the different current density distributions of the two resonant modes in order to configure independently the odd- and even-mode coupling coefficients. A design example of four-pole dual-band bandpass filter, having the same fractional bandwidths for each passband, provides the combinatorial diversity for fractional bandwidths of the proposed design method. This paper also presents that the proposed method also yields a dual-band bandpass filter with wider fractional bandwidths than that achieved by our previous one.
