Text Input Support System for Personal Information with OCR Engine

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we propose a method to improve input speed in business card with OCR engine. It is a method to determine the error rate for each item examining of the relationship in each item and using a database of information such as name, company name and address. In addition, it minimizes the error rate and corrects the erroneous character while ensuring that probability to miss errors is zero. It is possible to clearly specify the item which has error. Consequently, we only have to correct the erroneous item. For this reason, we can expect to improve input speed in business card.
