Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The Virtualization Technology, which can make separate use of the physical resource dynamically and logically, is expected to be applied to a new hosting service such as the Cloud Computing. In such a virtual hosting, user's virtual computer (virtual machine) is not necessarily created to the same host (virtual server). Under these circumstances:when the same user's virtual machine groups are created apart into two or more virtual servers, or when virtual machines of various users are created to the same virtual server. Therefore, virtual LAN segment that makes user's virtual machine group into extends to two or more virtual servers, too. Tag VLAN is well-known as the virtual LAN segment constructing method for grouping multiple connections logically, however the problem is that the user cannot freely compose Stacked tag VLAN group constructed over two or more virtual servers. In this text, we suggest the L2-VPN as virtual LAN segments constructing method in order to enable the construction of user's unique VLAN, which is isolated from other users' network, for the network system of virtual hosting services.
