| Abstract(in English) | This paper designs a mechanism to conduct channel regulation and environmental information sharing, in heterogeneous cognitive radio system, on out-of-band pilot channel using a dedicated wireless communication system which is not for data communication. The channel regulation is a function to regulate frequency utilization based on priority class configured on cognitive radio base stations and terminals by sending regulatory information send from network reconfiguration manager. The environmental information sharing is a function to exchange communication quality directly between terminals. Our experiments using a developed prototype system show that each of the functions can achieve more than twice total throughput in given experimental environments. |
