| 抄録(和) | 異種無線システムを利用することで通信の信頼性と周波数利用効率を向上させる研究開発について、筆者らは研究開発を進め、実験装置の開発に着手している。異種無線システムの活用は、バーチカルハンドオーバ技術として検討されてきているが、最近、コグニティブ無線の観点からも研究が進められている。一般に、コグニティブ無線技術は周波数を有効に活用することを大きな目的とするが、ここでは通信の信頼性向上にもフォーカスする。実験装置開発を含めた筆者らの取り組みについて、背景や狙いを説明した後に、現状と今後の課題を述べる。 |
| 抄録(英) | This paper introduces research and development activities regarding to the reliability improvement by heterogeneous wireless systems, especially conducted by the authors. The heterogeneous wireless system, which has been discussed in vertical handover technologies, is deeply related to the cognitive radio technologies. Though the main purpose of the cognitive radio is an efficient radio frequency reuse, this paper focuses on the improvement of the communication reliability. It also states the relation between the communication reliability and the efficiency of the frequency usage. An overview and the aim of authors' activities, including our development of the test-bed system, are introduced here, followed by the current status and further studies. |
