Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In frequency reuse based cognitive radio (CR), the CR system is able to use the frequency bands when they sense that primary radio (PR) systems are not using those bands. However, due to the effects of fading, individual cognitive radios may not be able to reliably detect the existence of a primary radio. Cooperative sensing is proposed as a means to mitigate such effects. In this paper, we focus on the coexistence between CR system and PR system. We analyze the effect of cooperation overhead on the throughput of CR system. Moreover, we also analyze the effect of frame length on the throughput and collision rate of CR system. |
