Abstract(in English) | 2.45GHz band RFID is communicated by the electromagnetic radiation. Therefore, the communication distance because short. When passive RFID of the band is read by the wireless with a reader of 12dBi circularly-polarized wave, it is possible to read it only up to about 545mm. Then the technique of electromagnetic-wave transmission in a single conductor is paid to attention. The attenuation of the electromagnetic radiation in the single conductor is very small. Therefore, the communication distance can be expected to increase greatly because it arranges passive tags near the single conductor. Then, whether it is possible to communicate when passive tags is arranged near the single conductor is examined from the relation of threshold of the operation electric power of IC and receiving power of passive tags by simulation. In this paper, it was shown to be able to expand the communication distance greatly when passive tags were arranged in the single conductor neighborhood. However, it was shown that the place where passive tags of each half wavelength were not able to be recognized because of the standing wave of current formed on the single conductor existed. Also, the validity of the analysis was shown by actually making the antenna model and experimenting. |
