Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Extracting the acoustic signal of a particular sound source and locating its position is important technique for many acoustic systems. In our study, a small dodecahedral microphone array installing many microphones in order to construct a robust encoding acoustic field system was developed. This system can extract the acoustic signals and source position even if there is no information of sound sources and acoustic environment. Our proposed method based on the frequency-domain independent component analysis clusters acoustic transfer functions between the sound source and microphones with spatial information. Our proposed method uses a novel similarity measure that combines amplitude and phase similarity as a function of frequency. This measure bases on the human sound localization ability. The encoding acoustic field in the real environment for real talker was executed and four subjects evaluated separated signals. Experimental results clarified the effectiveness of the proposed method.
