Abstract(in English) The Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications takes up the shift to ICT utilization as the principle of u-Japan policy. Five towns and villages merged in Azumino area of Nagano prefecture , and Azumino city was established in October, 2005. Azumino city made a master plan on ICT in March, 2008 in order to achieve a basic plan of each field in Azumino city grand total picture. This paper describes current status and issues on ICT infrastructure and ICT utilization in Azumino city based on the civic questionnaire survey and the ICT environmental research.
