Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) have been studied as a method to enable effective frequency resources utilization. Neighboring cells form "clusters" that is constructed by some base stations (BSs) cooperatively communicating with some subscriber stations (SSs) via multi-user Multiple Input Multiple Output (MU-MIMO) technique. To overcome the co-channel inter-cluster interference problem in wide area service with limited frequency resource, we proposed an inter-cluster interference canceling method. In this paper, we evaluated spectral efficiency improvement by the proposed interference canceling method with parameters of cluster size, which is the number of base stations which work cooperatively, and frequency reuse factor. Computer simulations show that the proposed method achieves effective spectral efficiency with fewer frequency channels.
