Abstract(in English) LTE-Advanced(LTE-A) has been investigated in 3GPP(3rd Generation Partnership Project) for 4th generation mobile system. In LTE-A, Relay is discussed to increase coverage and throughput. In the discussion on Relay for LTE-A, it is discussed that Relay Node(RN) forms a independent cell (Relay cell) and is deployed in the area overlapping with macro cell formed by eNB. Although it is expected to improve spectrum efficiency thanks to the same frequency reuse among relay cells and macro cells, it also causes an issue of the inter-cell interference increase as increasing the number of RN. For this issue, we have proposed the interference coordination method that backhaul subframes for eNB to RN are scattered among macro cells. On the backhaul subframe that RN receives data from eNB, RN does not transmit data to UE belonging to the RN. On the subframe, RN does not interfere with the other nodes. In this paper, we propose a enhanced interference coordination method that the backhaul subframes for eNB to RN are scattered among relay cells belonging to a donor eNB. We show simulation results of the proposed method.
