Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We developed an optical input module for a superconducting single-flux-quantum (SFQ) circuit to realize broadband signal transmission between room-temperature and cryogenic environments with low thermal conductivity. The optical input module, consisting of a built-in photodetector and co-planar waveguide transmission line, was fabricated on an InP substrate and flip-chip bonded with a Si substrate on which the SFQ circuits were inegrated. We succeeded in generating SFQ pulses using an opticcal input with an amplitude of less than 1 mW.
