Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A pseudo-spectral time-domain(PSTD)method is efficient to compute electromagnetic fields in a large scale structure, and is used for the light scattering analysis of random media. In traditional PSTD, electric and magnetic fields are sampled at the same point on a grid. This causes field loss in Nyquist spatial frequency via space differentiation, and generates an unwanted wave. We have proposed the method to eliminate this unwanted wave and to use this method for small particles. By sampling alternately on a Yee's lattice, the field in Nyquist spatial frequency is hold and the unwanted wave can be eliminated. In this paper, we report the improved method, the property of the perfect matching layer, and the light scattering analysis of the random medium with this method.
