Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The recursive transition-matrix algorithm with the use of integral representation of lattice sums is a powerful technique to analyze the electromagnetic scattering form a periodic array of circular cylinders with plane-wave incidence. The present paper proposes a formulation using symmetric expansion bases by considering the structural symmetry. The numerical calculation based on the proposed formulation with a truncation reduces the matrix order significantly comparing with that based on the conventional formulation for the same trunctaion order.
