Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A group of wirelessly networked sensor nodes with self-moving capability is called "a mobile sensor network" in the community of communications and "a robot swarm" in that of robotics. Research on swarm robotics is located in the fusion of robotics, mechanics, control, communications, signal processing and artificial intelligence, so it contains a lot of challenging issues that "communications" itself has never faced so far, such as "networking and control are complementing each other." This paper presents problems to be solved when dealing with a robot swarm as a wireless communication system and introduces some works to tackle the problems so far done by the author.
