Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper is another effort of combining network coding and channel coding to achieve improved reliability of network coding in wireless sensor network. We propose a scheme of Analog Network Coding(ANC)with Simple Packet Combining(SPaC)where SPaC acts as the method of improving error rate performance of ANC. Orthogonal spreading sequences are used in integrating SPaC into ANC where The orthogonality of spreading sequences ensures the separability of information and their parities for Simple Packet Combining to work. Simulations under AWGN and Rayleigh Fading-AWGN channels have shown that error rate performance is improved for proposed scheme compared to conventional XOR-based Physical Network Coding(PNC). Coding gain in error rate performance increases for stronger error correcting codes, e.g. Reed-Solomon codes. Error performance of proposed scheme also greatly improves with increasing spreading sequence lengths, as expected.
