Abstract(in English) | We investigated the power handling capability of superconducting filters using sliced microstrip-line resonators (MSLRs) and superconducting/insulating/superconducting multi-layered microstrip-line resonators for use as high-power transmit filters in mobile communication systems. Frequency responses and power handling capability of the sliced MSLR filter were compared with that of the non-sliced MSLR filter. The power handling capability of sliced MSLR filter was 1.7 dB larger than that of the non-sliced MSLR filter. Frequency responses and power handling capability of the multi-layered MSLR filter were compared with that of the single-layered MSLR filter. The power handling capability of multi-layered MSLR filter was 1.9 dB larger than that of the single-layered MSLR filter. The sliced MSLR and multi-layered MSLR could be improved the power handling capability of superconducting filters. |
