Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In transmitting image using the network, image was encoded for the compression. Traditional encoding improves the efficiency of compression by separating the image information by frequency, and collecting important image information to the low frequency. However, in this way, received compressin image data can not be decoded in receiver when part of image is lost. In this report, we propose two-channel filter banks to devide equally energy of image. When part of image is lost because of packet error, received compression image data can be decode. In addition, we reduce the calculation by paying attention to the filter coefficients.
