A Study on Noise Estimation based on Equation Error IIR-ADF

Abstract(in English) We have investigated a noise reconstruction system(NRS) as a noise reduction system. The NRS uses a linear prediction error filter (LPEF) and a system indentification model. The NRS uses a noise reconstruction filter (NRF) for estimating the background noise. However, since the conventional system uses a finite impulse response (FIR) filter, many tap coefficients are needed to estimate background noise accurately. In order to solve the problem, an infinite impulse response (IIR) filter is introduced to the NRF. In this paper, an equation error IIR filter based on correlation of input signals is used to guarantee the system stability and improve the estimation accuracy of background noise.
