Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the demand for security system that detects intruder over a wide range is increasing. Detection systems which use LCX(Leaky CoaXial cables) have been developed but, it is pointed out that such a system is weak against disturbance. To clarify the effects of disturbance, we need a system model with which we can evaluate the major disturbance effects quantitatively. In this paper, we propose a simulator model for an intruder detection system using LCX cable with ray-trace method, and evaluate the simulator by comparing it with an electromagnetic analysis using FDTD(Finite Difference Time Domain) method. The results show that it is possible to evaluate the effects of disturbance in an intruder detection system using LCX cable accurately.
