Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) How do you walk thought a number of randomly walking people at scramble crossing? We are investigating perception of other's walking direction: who is approaching to or deviating from me. In this paper, we show studies on perceptual threshold of an approaching walker, perceptual modulation of walking direction by face direction and visual search of approaching or deviating walkers. Then, we will locate the problem of walker-direction perception in the context of social cognition.
