Abstract(in English) | We have developed a phase reduction theory for limit cycle oscillators subject to weak noise. We present the phase equation for an oscillator subjected to white Gaussian noise. Moreover, we generalize the phase equation to the case of colored noise with finite correlation time. The generalized phase equation is valid for any oscillator with an arbitrary amplitude relaxation time scale of the limit cycle and for an arbitrary correlation time of the noise. |
