Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We compared source estimation method when equivalent dipole are located in the motor cortex aimed at right/left hand movement or their imagery based brain-computer interface. We have developed a prewhitening EEG beamforming with linear constraint, which is introduced vector beamforming technique and linear constraint that suppress signals in other areas. It was found that the estimated location error by prewhitening beamforming with linear constraint was lower than that by minimum variance beamforming with linear constraint or the beamforming with linear constraint based on generalized least squares even when signal-noise ratio (SNR) is lower than 0.5. This demonstrates that the proposed prewhitening beamforming with linear constraint is useful to estimate the location of signal source even when SNR is low.
