Abstract(in English) The paper presents a beamforming based spatial control method providing coexistence among dissimilar or independently operated networks in wireless communications environment, specifically but not limited to, television whitespace(TVWS)frequency bands. In wireless communication, if several systems located near to each other use the same spectrum for communication, there would be a large interference to each other's systems, resulting in a big performance degradation, at worst, both of systems may stop communication. In the paper, we assume that the systems are capable of beam codebook based beamforming. The beamformed link is set up by sweeping the possible directions defined in the codebook. Instead of conducting independent beamforming in its own network, the beamforming inside both networks are controlled by the coexistence related logical entities, such as coexistence enabler, coexistence manager, etc. With the help of these controls, the beamformed links are set up so that the two networks may mitigate the interference to each other, and finally achieving coexistence in the same locations. The paper provides the basic idea and protocol.
