Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Performance of cellular systems are theoretically analyzed under multi-cell environments with cooperated base stations. Path-loss, shadowing and the Rayleigh fading are considered in radio propagation model. Correlation in shadow fading are also taken into consideration for base station cooperated communication and inter-cell interference. The maximal combining diversity is assumed in signal reception. Distribution function of signal to noise and interference power ratio(SINR)is shown for a given cell. By numerical calculation of the distribution of S(I)NR, cell average and cell edge throughput are theoretically calculated. Performance is also analyzed when base station cooperation is carried out adaptively based on signal quality condition.
