Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In Meteor Burst Communications(MBC), the channels open randomly and the received signal power varies with time, sometimes modeled as an exponentially attenuated channel. We have proposed a new ARQ scheme, named Go-Back-i-symbol(GBi)ARQ scheme which is suitable to the MBC channels. The scheme can achieve symbol-wise retransmission by using a convolutional encoder and a Viterbi decoder. In this paper, we evaluate the throughput performance of GBi-ARQ scheme with various sorts of coding designs, modulation and demodulation methods via computer simulations to investigate suitable designs for GBi-ARQ scheme in MBC.
