Abstract(in English) | In Meteor Burst Communications(MBC), the channels open randomly and the received signal power varies with time, sometimes modeled as an exponentially attenuated channel. We have proposed a new ARQ scheme, named Go-Back-i-symbol(GBi)ARQ scheme which is suitable to the MBC channels. The scheme can achieve symbol-wise retransmission by using a convolutional encoder and a Viterbi decoder. In this paper, we evaluate the throughput performance of GBi-ARQ scheme with various sorts of coding designs, modulation and demodulation methods via computer simulations to investigate suitable designs for GBi-ARQ scheme in MBC. |
